Speleo season here start at the winter.
I posted some photos about my first expedition of cave searching
So my first test of ability for a living was a night in summer tent when -32'C (-25,6F). I don't know how to describe feelings, but at the morning we had a snowy cupola inside of a tent. The half of the sleeping-bags were covered with an ice layer.
Instead of food were an ice. All the vegetables, the canned provisions were freezed.
Of course we decided spent the last days at the village, it was not so far avay from our base (about 2 km = 3,2 miles). Local residents were well wishing and we got a house at the village.
Every morning we divided in to 2-3 groups for a searching work along the Kolba river and the bordering hills.
Oh, and I'm so proud about my Nikon D50 : P it standed low temperature and didn't letdown.
